Rowlett continues to reflect the dilemma of the overall market in the North Texas Area. NTREIS (The North Texas Real Estate Information System) statistical reports indicate that zip code 75088 in Rowlett has decreased in Average Sales Price in the Third Quarter of '07, as compared to the Third Quarter of '06, by as much as 17.37%. However, the Average Sales Price in zip code 75089 has decreased a little over 9.3%, reinforcing the "local" aspect of the Real Estate Market and precluding sweeping generalizations or predictions. And, although both areas have increased their Days on Market averages by 9 to 10 days, the List Price Ratio in each zip code has moved slightly, reflecting that the Sellers are pricing their properties realistically for this current marketplace.

In spite of the current dilemma, in 75088 particularly, Rowlett remains a well respected community in North Texas, that everyone expects the return to an appreciating and thriving marketplace.
